Give Your Baby a Strong Start by joining a Centering Pregnancy group today at NCHC. CenteringPregnancy© is a unique way to receive care while pregnant because it combines health assessment, education, and support in each visit. Participants of the program meet with other moms-to-be and get to share their pregnancy experience with new “mom friends”. Groups meet for up to 10 sessions with a physician to discuss and learn about the pregnancy, post-delivery, infant care, and family planning. The CenteringPregnancy© program has additional advantages such as early initiation into prenatal care, reducing pre-term birth rates, reducing low birth weight rates, provides motivation, empowerment, knowledge sharing and learning for pregnant women.
